Senior Project Manager – Design & Construction (Data Centers)
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the design and construction of complex data center infrastructure projects in Frankfurt. You will oversee all phases of the project lifecycle — from permitting to handover — ensuring quality, cost, and timeline targets are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage large-scale design and construction projects including data centers, power supply systems, underground utilities, and office fit-outs.
- Coordinate external consultants, contractors, and internal engineering teams.
- Oversee planning, permitting, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
- Serve as the main point of contact with clients (including hyperscalers and enterprise customers), consultants, and local authorities.
- Ensure health & safety, sustainability (BREEAM), and quality standards are met across all project phases.
- Provide regular reporting, budget tracking, and documentation.
Requirements:
- Engineering degree (or equivalent) with at least 15 years' experience in construction project management.
- Native German speaker with fluent English (spoken and written).
- Strong knowledge of data center systems (HVAC, electrical, safety, BMS, etc.).
- Proven leadership in managing multi-disciplinary teams and large-scale technical projects.
- Proficient with MS Project, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office tools.
